RULES AND REGISTRATION
Your dog can be one of 15 local dogs that run down a 40' dock and jump into a 27,000 gallon 20’ x 40’ pool. During Libertyville's Dog Days of Summers Opening Ceremonies
Friday, July 6th at 6:00 PM,
15 local dogs will compete in a local competition for Trophies and the title of
"Libertyville's Big Air Dog". The competition is simple and
exciting, the dog with the longest leap off the dock...the BIG AIR DOG - WINS!

for 1 OF 3 WAYS TO WIN.
The five dogs who receive the most amounts of votes on Pampered Pup’z Facebook
site, five dogs from the “Local Fun Jump” and five dogs from a drawing at each one our
sponsors listed below. A total of 15
dogs will win a chance to compete for the title of "Libertyville's Big Air
Dog".
WHO CAN COMPETE
There is no age limits for handlers
nor is it limited to certain breeds. Any breed, (6 months or older) from
the smallest Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane is welcome to register for the
“Libertyville's-Big Air Dog Jumping” competition. You must be a Libertyville
resident or have some type of Libertyville affiliation. (Work, Club,
Association, Shop, Eat, etc.)
THREE WAYS TO REGISTER
1. You can register in our Facebook Voting Competition by sending
a picture of your dog and in 25 words or less tell why you feel your dog should
be chosen to jump in the competition. Voting will start Monday, May 7th
at noon and end on Saturday, June 30th at noon. The winners will be
announced shortly thereafter. Only the top 5 voted dogs will qualify to
compete.
2. “Local Fun Jump” held Thursday,
July 5th from 2 - 6 PM. From this, five dogs will be chosen to compete in
the local competition. Dogs will be judged by distance and crowd appeal.
The “Local Fun Jumping Session” is $15
and open to all local dogs. Official Big Air Dog Jumping Instructors will
be there to assist with your jump. On-site
registration only begins at noon. Don’t be disappointed, we sold out last year. Come
early, first come first served.
3. Visit one of our sponsors and enter your dog in a drawing to be held Saturday, June 30th at noon in each of our sponsor’s locations. Winner need not be present. You can register your dog once at each of the five sponsor’s locations, for a total of five entries in all.
You may register your dog in all three categories, but only win once. Five dogs from the Facebook Voting Competition, five dogs from the “Local Fun Jump” and five dogs from drawings at our sponsors, a total of 15 local dogs will be jumping in "Libertyville's Big Air Dog Jumping" competition held Friday, July 6th at 6 PM. Winner will be crowned "Libertyville's Big Air Dog". There will be awards for all dogs that compete. All decisions by the judges are final.
